Serbian Man Kisses Me

Welcome back, this episode is going to be crazy. The work is working and we have 6 of our friends who are on date for baptism. The lord is hasting his work. We found our boy Scott on Thursday and he was on date on Friday. There is so many miracles as you work for them.

Alright I'm sure the moment you've all been waiting for. We got a referral from Facebook for a guy named Mile. We went to his house last week and he said to come back on Sunday. Of course he wasn't there the time we came back. Even tho it's the time he gave us. So we went back on Tuesday
. We knock and some lady answers the door and we ask for Mile. She closes it and 15 seconds Mile comes to the door. He tells us we need to come in and eat and drink with him. Apparently it was Orthodox Christmas and this guy was celebrating. We go to the table and there is so much food and he demands we try everything. We start munching it was pretty good. Tried some liver and there was some deer there as well. He then pours us a drink and hands it to us. Keep in mind this guy is pretty wasted. We ask if it's got alcohol, he said only little. In his thick Serbian accent. So, you know me we downed it and asked for another. Burned pretty hard. Nah don't worry I'm just joking but, he was really trying to get us to drink. We just said nah we are 19 and we don't do that. He was trying tho. We just hungout and talked for like 40 minutes. The other 2 were Ukrainian. Shout out Cole. I was about to call you for a cheeky member lesson. Anyway he's getting drunker and drunker and the night goes on he's saying some crazy out of pocket things. Talking about how I definitely have a girl friend and I need to find him one. He's basically just telling us to eat drink and be merry. We then say we would love to stay but we got a lesson. He said he needs a Pic with us so we get up and pose. And brother is trying to kiss me while we are trying to take a photo. Didn't let him. As we are walking out he shakes our hands and then kisses me on the neck. I was not quick enough. Luckily my comp was so when he leaned in he backed off. Pretty dang crazy. We just walked away and we're were like "that was not real".

Anyway, this week has probably been my favorite week so far. So many epic people. And of course my first 2 baptism. Their names are Bol and Tut. Their mom got baptized about a year and a half ago and we had the opportunity to baptized them. They were so excited and running up and down the halls. It was so special to get to baptized them together. We also got 3 of our friends there so that's pretty cool.

Spiritual thought
The new youth theme is my favorite Scripture. "Look unto me in every thought, Doubt not Fear not". This has become so true on the Mish. My doubts and fears just go away. If I look unto my Savior in every thought I am able to just talk to everyone and work my butt off every single day. LOOK UNTO HIM IN EVERY THOUGHT.

Another Day Another Dollar

Welcome back to another epic week in the NOM. This week starts with throwing a couch off a balcony. Let's get into it.  We finished closing the old apartment, so we had to get everything out of it.... Including the couch. We are on the second floor, and I was not about to carry that downstairs so.... We just threw it off the balcony. Maybe The Weirdest Week Of My Life.....But Also Two Baptisms?????

Wow I don't even know how to start this. We left Tuesday morning for Omaha. We meet a very enthusiastic convert. I don't even know how to describe her but just wow she was kinda a lot. But she was super awesome and helped us get to the airport. Then we met a very anti lady who I'm not sure was fully there. She was calling Joseph Smith the devil and that were all going to Hell. That was fun.  Flight went great and the sunset in Omaha as we were landing was incredible. Had the first good meal since I had my last meal cooked by my mom. MTC food sucks. Then we found out where we're going to be serving and I'm serving in the Falls Park area in Sioux Falls. Like 30 people came up to me and told me how lucky I am. Apparently it's the best area in the mission. Pretty crazy I guess.  We had a 3 hour drive to get out here. Then I met my trainer Elder Ruddell. He's pretty sick. Very good trainer. Went straight to finding and that was crazy. Still getting used to that. ...
