JESUS IS KING

Welcome back, I don't even know how to start this one. Unfortunately the 2 kids we were going to baptized caught influenza and they pushed the baptism to next week but it's all good. I got to give 4 priesthood blessings weirdly enough and 3 of them were non members. Yes 2 were the sick kids getting baptized next week but you know technically non members right.

Overall theres not much to report. We have 7 people on date for baptism and are just trying to get them ready. We had my favorite friend tell us that he was not getting baptized into our church. The spirit was strong in the room when he told us. People have fallen off date but this one sucked extra. I know he knows its true which sucks so much. Like why. He told us he feels the spirit ever time he meets with us and every time he reads the Book of Mormon. Ahhhhhh then you know it's true. Idk just sucks. 

Don't worry guys I went out of my way to sit in the freezing cold just to get pictures for you this week. I know I disappointed some of you last week but dont fear you'll see hear in just a minute. 

Overall alright week, we got to go to a Nye party at the church. That was fun. But apparently Sioux Falls is dumb, they don't allow anyone besides the city to light off fireworks and we aren't by the place they lit them off. So no fireworks this year

Spiritual thought
Yall thought you were gonna get away with no spiritual thought. Nah think again. This week I've been thinking a lot about the Holy Ghost. As missionaries our whole job is to help others feel that Holy Ghost. I've been reading up a lot on what the Holy Ghost truly does. There's so many things it does but my favorite are comforts, strengths, and sanctified. It lifts us up when we need lifting up. It comforts us when we need comfort. But most importantly it is what makes us fully clean of our sins. You need a baptism of fire as often as you can. Strive to have the Holy Ghost with you more this week. Some of the best ways our reading scriptures, praying, going to the temple, service, and going to church. You'll find so much more joy in life as you have the Holy Ghost with you.

Another Day Another Dollar

Welcome back to another epic week in the NOM. This week starts with throwing a couch off a balcony. Let's get into it.  We finished closing the old apartment, so we had to get everything out of it.... Including the couch. We are on the second floor, and I was not about to carry that downstairs so.... We just threw it off the balcony. Maybe The Weirdest Week Of My Life.....But Also Two Baptisms?????

Wow I don't even know how to start this. We left Tuesday morning for Omaha. We meet a very enthusiastic convert. I don't even know how to describe her but just wow she was kinda a lot. But she was super awesome and helped us get to the airport. Then we met a very anti lady who I'm not sure was fully there. She was calling Joseph Smith the devil and that were all going to Hell. That was fun.  Flight went great and the sunset in Omaha as we were landing was incredible. Had the first good meal since I had my last meal cooked by my mom. MTC food sucks. Then we found out where we're going to be serving and I'm serving in the Falls Park area in Sioux Falls. Like 30 people came up to me and told me how lucky I am. Apparently it's the best area in the mission. Pretty crazy I guess.  We had a 3 hour drive to get out here. Then I met my trainer Elder Ruddell. He's pretty sick. Very good trainer. Went straight to finding and that was crazy. Still getting used to that. ...
