Today's My Last Day......TODAY'S MY LAST DAY????
Whatttt MTC flew by faster than anything. I feel like just yesterday I was saying bye to all my family and friends for the last time. Now I will be in Nebraska tomorrow. What, craziness right. Super excited to be out in the field but also sad to be leaving this place. Not sad to be leaving the food. But the MTC is probably the coolest place on earth. Nowhere else on this planet can you have people from all over the world come and learn and then go all over the world. Even all the other MTCs don't got that on Provo. I've met people from France going to Africa. A guy from Finland going to the states and about everything in between. We walk past rooms that are speaking languages that I have never heard of. The Lord is hasting his work.
I also got the chance to go to the Payson temple and do sealings to family. Coolest temple experience ever. I will only be doing those from now on. Just kidding I love all temple work but you know.
Also It was my Comps birthday on Halloween. Wish him a late happy birthday. We threw him a surprise party which was super fun. Shout out to my mom for the decorations and cake.
Overall it's been a pretty good week. We served in the cafeteria which was fun. Almost forgot we almost fought some kids on the bus from the temple. I know I know, not very christlike. I'm sorry. It started by them getting on the bus and my district was singing some songs and the new kids got on and the first thing they did was call us service missionaries which is weird. Then my comp was singing and this one Elder said No way Wreck it Ralph.... I don't really remember exactly what he said but the second he said it I just looked him dead in the eyes and told him to be quiet. That was followed by another one of my district telling him to sit next to him so they could talk.(He didn't) and then another elder whispering in his ear I will send us both home. Needless to say the Elder stopped talking after that. The weather app got pretty interesting for him. I probably should've stopped but don't disrespect my comp like that. Anyway on a lighter note.
Spiritual Thought
I have learned so much this week. But the overall take away was to read your Book of Mormon. I think I heard from 8 different leaders that you need to be reading your Book of Mormon. Russell M. Nelson promised that if we read our Book of Mormon everyday we will be able to live with Heaven Father forever.
This was a lot longer than I thought. I'm glad if you made it this far.
That all for now,
